What is Race Night?

We know that not everyone is accustomed to the concept of Race Night, so we wanted to give more information about what it is, how it works, and how we raise money for charity while having a good time.

Our next Race Night is Friday, August 20th, 2021: https://fb.me/e/3WC029Vo8

So, what is it?

Race Night isn't just one night, we start the opportunity to get involved a few weeks ahead of the event itself. We have a professional partner that comes in to show pre-recorded video footage of races that have been run. You get your chance to place 'bets' against a series of horses, riders or trainers at £2 a go.

On the night, the races are run, and the winner's claim their rewards from a series of prizes provided by our partner.

During the night, you also get the chance to place cash 'bets' on your horses for your chance to win cash prizes.

How does it help to raise money for charity?

The money that is collected in the run up (on our betting card at the bar) all goes to charity. The cash 'bets' that are placed on the night provide another great source of income for the charity on the night too.

Which charity does it support?

We've chosen to support the Dreams Come True Children's Charity. They are focused on raising funds to uplift the spirits of terminally and seriously ill children by fulfilling their most treasured dream. They help children with both life threatening and long-term degenerative illnesses, including leukemia, cystic fibrosis and muscular dystrophy.

A dream coming true creates a positive focus for the children and their families and can mean a release from the pressures and traumas of their illness.

So what do I need to do?

Come on in in the few weeks running up to the event and place your £2 bets against your favorite horse, jokey or trainer.

On the night, come along and bring a group of friends for a fun filled night cheering on your horse to victory!
